May blade came loose while i was using it. I didn’t have the tools that came with saw. So i had tate the lower guard off and when i did the guard spring came off now i need to know how to put it back on. Or if you know any shop in indianapolis that i could take it to have it done
For model number 36-255L
Hi Neil, thank you for contacting us. Please follow the given instructions to put the spring back on: First, you need to place the lower leg of the spring against the tab on the plate. Install this assembly back into the guard. You will notice that there are four tabs, one of which is larger than the other three. You will need to line that tab with the larger hole in the plate. As you align the guard with the plate, you need to make sure that the opposite leg on the spring aligns with the tab on the side of the guard, and then you can secure it with the screw and washer. We hope this helps!
