Broken handle
Remove the door by lifting up the hinge side so that the two hinge pins disengage from the steel hinge brackets. This can be a bit fiddly so just keep wiggling the door until one of them pops off.
Remove the plastic cover trim piece that surrrounds the window, exposing the phillips head screws that secure the door to the handle.
Remove the screws to un-install the old handle, they are deep set so if they fall out of the door you will need needle nose pliers to pout them back into the door.
Set teh new handle in place and tighten the screws down snuggly.
Retrace your steps... snap the plastic trim back in place and reset teh door on it's hinges (once again this can be a bit fiddly so take your time.

Grease filters were missing from the over-the-stove microwave
Why a tenant would remove and discard the grease filters without replacing them is beyond me! But, I removed the filters from the package and slid them into place. Two minutes tops. I would like to add that I ordered these on Thursday afternoon, and I had them on Saturday; awesome customer service!

Not the original type bulb
The repair was very easy, however the bulb was not the same as the original one. The original bulb had a bright setting and a low setting, but the replacement bulb was only the low setting bulb. There was no bright and dim operation. The switch on the microwave had the duel settings.
