When I first purchased microwave the fan will shut off now it keeps running unless I unplug the unit, what’s going on?

Hello Evelyn, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Microwave Fan Thermostat. It should test Normally open for continuity, closes at 150 degrees to turn on the vent fan. Microwave recently starting making thumping noise when turning. Noticed when removing the glass plate that the white plastic piece in the middle does not stay level when manually turned. Is this the issue? Thank you!

While screwing in the surface light cover the screw sparked and apparently caused the fuse to blow .where is the fuse located

Hi Mario, thank you for your inquiry. The fuse, part number FIX3486694, is located on the noise filter board, behind the control panel. We hope this information helps!

Unplug all wire terminations and set control panel aside. 4. Remove two screws securing latch board, lift and rotate board
... Read moreout of position, remove three micro switches, xfer monitor switch actuator from lower pin in old board and insert in new. Install new door switches and reverse procedure to complete repair.
Note 1. Take care to located new latch board so holding tabs line up, pass through frame, and openings for door tangs line up with openings in frame before securing with screws.
Open the front cover by pushing it at the top (where it says “Push”), lifting up and pushing back on top edge of the old filter. Pull it out. Installing the new one is basically just the reverse of those steps! That simple.
