Thermostat ceased to function. Fridge very cold.
I removed control knobs and a couple of screws and forced the assembly down enough to remove the old thermostat, and insert the new one. Lucky me it was a identical replacement item. Job took about an hour.

light bulb in water ice freezer door went bad
I didn't. Don't know how to get to light bulb to change it for this specific model

Amana thermostat rusted
Add the new one it was slightly different than the original but it worked out perfect.
