1 deck belt cover fell off and the other rusted and loosening

Belt guards broken
Replaced belt guards. Bended in center plates to keep the belts from slipping off. Works like a charm

upper transmission belt cracked bad
Removed battery, then battery hanger brackets.
Removed the tension spring from under side of seat. That was a little tuff to do. put a long phillips screw driver through transmission pulley.
put a 7/8 box wrench on pulley nut and removed it. took old belt off and installed new one. Reversed order of removal.
Getting the t ension spring back into the bracket hole was a little tricky. I used a pair of long needle nose pliers to re install the spring.
cut my yard and I'm a happy camper !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
