Why do the back wheels lock up when pulling in reverse

Hello Luis, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, it is pretty common in lawnmowers. The dust covers behind the wheels can not keep all the dust from time to time. You may need to take the wheels and gears off and clean them. If the issue still exists, we would recommend replacing the gear, part number FIX8961282, and the belt, part number FIX8957839.
