Starter rope would not retract.
Removed body screws (4 front, 3 rear). Separated engine from starter pulley. Removed pulley retainers, then removed the pulley from the drive shaft. Removed old spring assembly and replaced with new. Removed old rope from pulley and replaced with new. Wound rope and pushed through body so that about 1 ft remained outside. Replaced pulley and retainers so that pulley engaged with spring lobe. Put engine back onto pulley and reassembled body. Tied knot in starter rope at a position that it would fully retract. Cut off excess rope.
