This is a plastite screw for a variety of power tools. It is almost an inch long with a pan head. A plastite screw is needed when using harder plastics. It is more resistant to stripping and pulling out.

What would cause the blade to lockup when you turn it on? It makes noise just won't move

Hello Daniel, thank you for your question. If your engine runs, but the trimmer blades do not move when the throttle is engaged, the clutch may be broken or improperly tensioned. Broken power input terminal
I found this unit by the side of the road. One power input terminal was loose. Inside it was broken. Replacement was to remove the screws, pull out the wire, and cut the wire next to the terminal. I was able to strip the wire and crimp it in the terminal. I then soldered both terminals for a good connection.
