Hi Richard, thank you for the great question. To replace the burners, follow the following instructions: 1. Remove the grill grate and flame shields. 2. Take out the carry-over tubes and set them aside. 3. Slide out the cotter pins on the ends of each tube to remove the actual burner. 4. Use a screwdriver to help pry the tubes off their mounts. 5. Pry off the ignitor to completely remove the burner. 6. Remove the other tubes by taking out the cotter pins and prying off the ignitors. 7. Install the new replacement burners, extending the tube to the appropriate length. 8. Lock the tube at that length with the smallest screw included with the repair kit. 9. Attach the igniter to the burner. 10. Test the burner to ensure it lights. 11. Drill holes in the bottom of the tubes, if necessary. 12. Reinstall the new burner tubes and cotter pins.
