I installed the AVR and it produced AC immediately. The only problem is it stopped producing AC after running a few minutes or until it warmed up. I waited a few minutes and restarted the generator and it provided AC once again until warming. Can you tell me why running the generator would cause this interruption of power?
Thank you.
For model number 030359-0

Hi Harry, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, the issue might be caused if the AVR voltage gain is set too low to respond to the load being applied. The issue might also be caused by a fault in the winding powering the AVR. Checking the AVR windings for continuity using a multimeter might help. If the AVR control regulator, part number FIX9270265, is faulty you will need to replace it. Good luck with the repair!
