Rotary light switch broke
I shut off the electric to the range hood. removed the two screws holding the cover of the light and fan switches. Removed the knob and nut from the front of hood and pull down the broken light switch. Made a note as to which three wires went to the switch which had the connectors marked on it. detached the wire and reconnected the new s witch. Secure the switch back into the hood and replaced the cover back over the switched and place the knob back on the switch.
