It doesn't collect water. The fan is running.
For model number ADEL45LYL1
Hi Steve, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the float, part number FIX12172018, to fix the issue. When the water level in the collection tank reaches a certain level, the float switch gets triggered by floating up. When this happens, the float switch breaks a connection to the control board. Once the control board senses this, it shuts down the dehumidifier. Sometimes the float switch can get stuck, making the control board think that the tank is full when it’s actually not. If it is faulty, the dehumidifier may not collect water. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
