Garagedoor will open with the remote but not closed by remute. If you hold the cosole button it will close
For model number PD212D

Hi Dean, thank you for your inquiry. The problem is usually either due to a blocked path between the sensors, dirty safety eyes, loose wires at the sensors or at the motor head, bad sensors, or a bad motor control board. The transmitters (remotes) will not work to close the garage door if any of these issues are present. Also, try unplugging the garage door opener and re-plugging the unit back into the outlet. Check alignment on sensors, clean sensor eyes, check for damaged wiring, make sure wires are all connected well at the motor and sensors, unplug the motor and let it rest for a few minutes before replugging and testing again, clear memory on the motor, and reprogramming everything new. If it does not work, replace the motor control board, part number FIX12009868. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
