My washing machine is not aggitating or spinning
For model number FFTW4120SW

Hi Tim,
Thank you for your question. If the washer will not agitate or spin, we recommend checking the lid lick assembly for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting to see if it is operating normally. Before removing and checking this part, unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. You should receive a reading of zero. If you get any other reading, you will need a replacement lid lock assembly. We hope this helps!

The tub was bouncing around everywhere, the suspension rod wasn’t actually the problem but that had nothing to do with the part
Unscrewed the top of the washer after disconnecting the hoses. Tipped the matching on its back. Places a 2x4 underneath the tub to release the tension on the rods, then just popped the old one out and put the new one in. Tipped the machine back up and reconnected everything.
