Had to e-mail GE for electrical schematic. Checked voltages to compressor. Jumpered compressor to see if it would even come on. Found bad run capacitor. Fixed.

I moved the freezer to paint and broke the control panel on the door frame
The part was easy to locate since partselect has diagrams. They even tell you where to find the model number. Once the part was received, I was kind of afraid that I would not be able to get the guts out - the light and the control that is mounted on the panel. However, General Electric in their infinite wisdom let more than enough extra wire to pull the parts out and allowed me to install them on the new panel. Easy fix ( very), one screw driver , three screws, and 10 minutes.
