ice was accumulating around door
Removed all of the screws around the door and then removed the old gasket and fitted new gasket into place and replaced the screws

Freezer would not shut off unless unplugged.
Removed old cold temperature control; tested with ohm meter and determined that the control was bad; ordered new cold control from PartSelect.com. Installed new cold temperature control with no problems; freezer is now running like new again!

Freezer wouldn’t turn on.
Put the new temperature control unit in plugged freezer back in and immediately turned on. Very simple repair. Saved a lot of money not having to purchase new or call a repair shop.
