Why would i be getting ice build up around the evaporator fan and fan mount ? Freezer is less than 2 years old . There was enough ice to stop fan from working.

Hello Brad, Thank you for your inquiry. It sounds like the freezer isn't defrosting correctly so we would recommend checking the defrost thermostat and the defrost heater. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Good luck with your repair.

Low temp alarm. I reset freezer by unplugging for 30 min. No longer beeping but Green light is flashing. Freezer food is thawing, cold on bottom shelf, warm on top shelf. What parts do I need to fix this?

I recently purchased this freezer. Manufacture date 3/20. The gentleman I purchased this from said he had issues immediately after the warranty expired, had a repairman replace the compressor. It ran fine for a few more months then began making a 'loaping' sound when the compressor tried to start. The new compressor is a Panasonic tkd91e14pbe and seems to be a direct replacement for this unit. Are there ways to trouble shoot the inverter? Or perhaps the control board? Where should I begin? Thanks so much

Hello Jeff, Thank you for the question. Unfortunately there is no way to test the boards. The repairman would normally test the boards by removing them and replacing it with as new one. If the noise only happens when the Compressor is starting, the main Board should be fine. We hope this helps!

The freezer that is warm at the top shelves, cold at the bottom, Green light is flashing, also the inside light does not always come on when the door is opened. Could this along with the temperature be something in additon to the fan?

Hi Mary, Thank you for your question. If your freezer is too warm, the evaporator fan motor is just one part that you will need to check. There are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will also need to check the main control board, the defrost thermostat, the switch, the light bulb and the light socket. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!

Bought a new upright freezer. Love it but I made sure to get a model that has options to adjust the shelves. Then I bought a new shelf with clips. I felt there was too much room between the shelves as it came from the store. That would just result in stacking packages and too easy to lose what wa
I just moved the middle shelves up and down to create enough space for another shelf. Worked out beautifully
