Replacement bowl for Kitchenaid 7 cup food processor
Replaced broken bowl. The locking mechanism is not sturdy on the original and breaks in the bowl handle. If this replacement lasts, I will be happy because I really like the processor.

The handle on our bowl had broken at the latch
This bowl fit perfectly and was a much cheaper alternative to buying a new Kitchenaide food processor. No assembly simply switch the bowls out.

The plastic pin meant to insert into the processor when the bowl is snapped in place
(and thus enables the machine to process food), was not springing into its intended orifice. I tried to repair my original bowl but couldn't. For $18 I was able to save my favorite kitchen appliance. Thank you! Just had to swap the broken work bowl for the new one I ordered from your establishment. No disassembly required. Incredibly easy.

Kitchen Aid Food Processor Work bowl broke.
No repair involved, just replacement. I am delighted to receive the bowl after a long wait. I tried several parts sales on line and they were all showing either back-order or out of stock. Getting more frustrated, I ended up purchasing a re-conditioned food processor, same make. Now with the new bowl received from PartSelect I have a backup if the work bowl becomes damaged again.

No motor action due to bowl cover wear.
All I did was replace the bowl cover with the new one. The cover closing groove was worn/broken, not allowing the mechanical action needed to activate the interlock switch in the base.
