Hi Rob, thank you for asking. First, you will need to remove the screw cap for the drive coupling and then remove the screw and pull out the coupling. Now you can remove the old bowl lock plate and replace it with the new part. We hope this helps!

Hi Rollene, thank you for the question. Take care not to overfill the chute, as the pusher will not activate the interlock safety catch if the chute is too full. Do not fill over the MAX CHUTE FILL graphic. Strange noises from your food processor could be due to various issues, including a dull blade, loose parts, or an unstable base. For example, if the food processor is not on a level base, the blades will hit the sides of the bowl and cause a grinding noise. If the food processor motor is on but the blades are not moving, that could also create a grinding noise. If this does not help, you will need to inspect the following parts that could be the culprit: the blade, part number FIX12008615, the bowl assembly, part number FIX12008301, the large food pusher, part number FIX12008297, the small food pusher, part number FIX12008296, and the drive coupling, part number FIX12008275.
