Parts fit like a glove
Removed pull start assembly down to the crank. Installed motor housing, motor fan & rewind assembly. All went real good.

Starter Rewind broke internally-rope did not work
Removed old broken rewind starter (4 bolts); found the Model and Serial numbers; found Parts Direct and ordered new assembly; upon delivery, reinstalled with new Starter and hardware.

Generator would not start, Birggs & Stratton recommended to replase Gasket Exhaust.
Remove the spark suppresser, 4 face screws, 2 bottom screws and the two screws the hold the gasket. I also had to back out the top screw of the cover it blocked and prevented the removal of the gasket.
