My drill has several issues 1) Does not spin 2) There are sparks coming from the back 3) It smells like it's burning

Hi Ralph, thank you for asking. We have found that the drill not spinning, sparking, and smoking is a sign that the carbon brushes have worn out. The graphite from which these are made wears out over time, and the brushes need to be replaced. We would recommend checking the carbon brush assembly, part number FIX11855246, to fix the issue.
