the variable speed control does not keep the speed at the set point. The speed will creep as the drill press is being run. How do I repair it so it will hold the speed constant?

Hello Dan, thank you for contacting us. The belt over time can wear out and lose its teeth. Check the belt, part number FIX10459596, if it is worn out you may need to replace it. The belt is located on the motor sheave assembly. We hope this information helps!
