When you push start button lights come on but no water enters. It will go thru the process without water. If you cancel you can hear pump run to drain but there is no water, the float is clear of anything, what could be keeping from getting water?Thanks ld

Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher will not fill with water and you have checked the float, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the water inlet valve, the float switch and the door latch and switch. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Removed spray arm thumb nut. Removed spray arm. replaced worn and broken earings and re-assembled in reverse order. Would have done the repair a lot sooner if I had known that PartsSelect was just a few miles up the highway.
