Replaced board and now start light blinks when pressed to start

Hi Greg, thank you for the question. We would recommend checking that the control board is installed properly and wire harnesses are fine. Start light blinks means the control module is telling you the door is either not closed all the way or the door latch, part number FIX6447681, is faulty. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Ge dishwasher started out with no lights tested circuit board and it needed replaced. Replaced it and lights worked, but start light would start blinking. Just replaced the door latch and the start light is still blinking. What can I check now?

Hello Greg, Thank you for writing. According to GE, this indicates that the dishwasher has been reset and is in the process of turning off. This light will blink for 75 to 90 seconds, depending on the model. If the issue persists, you will need to try a hard reset and unplug or cut power to the appliance for 5 mins. We hope this helps!

Didn't actually do the compete repair but got close. Pulled out dishwasher, disconnected and checked continuity on the existing heating element (about 16 ohms) the new element was also about 16 ohms. Holding securely, replace screws removed in step 5. Toward the end they get a little tougher to screw in. 8. Plug wire harness into new door latch. 9. Re-align dishwasher and re-secure to counter in previous position. 10. Test latch to make sure it closes properly. 11. Turn on breaker in electrical panel. The dishwasher should now function properly.
