I had a leak on my dishwasher. I stopped the cycle to do the repair. I then did the repair and it started to blink on the front panel. I unplugged my washer for an hour. No help. I did a top panel reset pushing two buttons back and forth and it worked for a few days then stopped again. Found the mother board was blinking two flashes... what does this mean?

Hello Mark, Thank you for contacting us. Are you getting any error codes from the control panel? Which two lights are blinking or is it just all of them randomly flashing twice. If not then the user interface board may have started to fail or the latch may be slowly failing. You can test the door latch with a multimeter to rule out any issues, and check the board for any visible damage or loose connections. Good luck with your repair.
Machine will not start and panel will not light up. It would go out intermittently. I would unplug and plug back in and it would work for a few weeks. It would also beep randomly. This last time it went out the unplug trick didn’t work. Breaker is on, confirmed power to the outlet. Any idea what to replace?

I first tested for 120volts to my dishwasher to verify it was getting power from my electrical panel. Then tested pins 2 and 5 on the control board to make sure there was 14 volts going to the user interface harness. After I verified that I knew it was the user interface that was bad. I watched a video I found on YouTube and followed it.

Didn't actually do the compete repair but got close. Pulled out dishwasher, disconnected and checked continuity on the existing heating element (about 16 ohms) the new element was also about 16 ohms. This indicates they both were working fine and no need for replacement. Next step would have been to swap the elements would have been
