What causes a dishwasher to not dissolve detergent?
For model number FFCD2413UB2A
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question. Before using the dishwasher, run the hot water in kitchen sink for a few minutes until it is good and hot. If the water is not hot enough, the soap will not dissolve. If the dispenser door is malfunctioning and does open during the wash cycle, the detergent pod will not be released. If the pump is not cycling water through dishwasher or the spray arms or water filter are clogged, the detergent will not dissolve. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
