The plastic clip on the roller broke
We let this go for a shameful amount of time before I decided I could probably fix it. The roller broke so you could only pull it out about halfway or it would come off the track. I looked up the part, and bought it. Actually bought two in case it happened again. When I arrived I looked at how it was put together on the other side and then just basically pushed it onto the rod and it was fixed. I am ashamed it took so long to do it. Never be afraid to try it yourself. It was a total of $10 shipped to fix it.

My dishwasher was not draining
With the help of You Tube, this 50 year old Mom got the job done. Not that complicated if you watch the step by step instructions on the Appliance Pro video. My repairman and husband were both determined to just buy a new one but this 20 year old dishwashing genius was just in need of a little repair. Only need a screwdriver, and slightly confusing as wires hook on a little different on new pumps. I suggest watching video the whole way through and then playing it step by step as you do the repair. Worked great for me. Thanks.

Replacing Dishwasher door gasket
Watched a 5 min YouTube video and followed directions. Could not have performed the project without the video help. Had to remove dishwasher from under the counter to remove door from dishwasher. Glad I could perform task, would have been a costly repair. One appliance repair company would not do the job.

BROKEN CORD, PART OF DOOR COUNTERWEIGHT
REMOVED DISHWASHER FROM CABINET. DETACHED BASE FROM BODY OF THE DISHWASHER. INSTALLED NEW CORD, REATTACHED BASE TO BODY OF DISHWASHER AND REINSTALLED IN CABINET. OPINION: THIS IS A LENGTHY REPAIR AND UNNECESSARY ONE. THE CORD IS PART OF THE DOOR COUNTERWEIGHT AND SUBJECT TO TENSION EVERY TIME THE DOOR IS OPENED, AS WELL AS POTENTIAL CHAFFING DUE TO PROXIMITY TO VARIOUS METAL PARTS, AND VIBRATION. THE CORD SHOULD BE MADE OF STRONGER MATERIAL AND ARMORED OR ALLOWED MORE CLEARANCE. BOSCH SHOULD FIX TO LAST THE LIFE OF THE DISHWASHER.

Upper door seal (the surround seal) was leaking
This is a piece of cake. No tools are actually needed. Grasp one end of the old seal and gently pull it out of the groove in which is fits. Take the new seal, and paying attention to which way around it fits (there is a right and wrong way!) start at either end. Leave an inch or so beyond the groove to rest on the bottom of the dishwasher, and press the seal in place in the groove. You should have an inch or so left at the far end. Go back and go all along the seal and make sure it is pressed evenly and completely into the groove the full length.
You're done.
You're done.

I did not know how to reach the part to be replaced so I took the base off and everything became complicated as I had to put it back, lots of electrical wires, houses aso.
To replace the part per se was simple. To put everything back in place was more difficult as I took the base of the dishwasher off and a lor of other parts in order to reach for the drain pump. The irony was, after I took appart the base I fount a clip on the internet showing how to do that job and that was a very simple thing, couple of screws to take off the toe plate and the interior liner of the door, to create good access to the drain pump. Really a job of 10 minutes at the max.

Broken wheel on upper rack on both sides
The part was perfect. The repair video was very helpful, except it did not include the disassembly of the old part. I figured that out, and all went smoothly until the final step. The screw included required not a slot-head screwdriver which everyone has, not a Phillips head screwdriver which everyone has, but a screw requiring a specialized driver that no one has. WHY? I substituted a normal screw and hope that does not mean the terrorists have won.

At power turn-on the dishwasher would start in immediately in the Power Scrub mode and could not be changed or stopped.
I just removed the lower panel according to the manual, but the easier way is to remove the upper control unit by lifting upward. The difficulty with removing the lower panel is that the heavy-duty plastic pieces at the door hinge area are prone to falling out while trying to reattach the heavy lower panel. Replacing the control unit was very easy. All of the connectors have small locks on the back sides. Spreading the plastic locks for the control unit itself lets it come right out. The new unit just snaps in. Just be sure each connector plug is seated and locked. It takes longer to describe it than to do it.

Water was leaking into the dishwasher when it was not running and leaking onto the floor
Disconnected the water and power, pulled dishwasher out from under the counter, unscrewed the old inlet valve, disconnected hose from exit of inlet valve, noted the placement of the wires and disconnected them. Installed new inlet valve in reverse order and reinstalled dishwasher.
