The plastic clip on the roller broke
We let this go for a shameful amount of time before I decided I could probably fix it. The roller broke so you could only pull it out about halfway or it would come off the track. I looked up the part, and bought it. Actually bought two in case it happened again. When I arrived I looked at how it was put together on the other side and then just basically pushed it onto the rod and it was fixed. I am ashamed it took so long to do it. Never be afraid to try it yourself. It was a total of $10 shipped to fix it.

dishwasher not draining, dishes dirty
replacing the sensor was simple, just unplug and turn it out, but didn't solve the problem, it's a float sensor that doesn't show up on the tech sheet in the dishwasher or anywhere in troubleshooting on the internet I could find.

Dishwasher was pouring water during the rinse cycle. put the machine up on milk crates to find the source of the leak. The water was coming from the bottom corner of the door. Fount the orig gasket torn
Remove the dishwasher from under the counter. Remove door springs. On the inside of the lip of the door remove the 6 screws that hold the outer door panel on, and remove panel. this will expose hinge screws. Remove the two screws per side holding the inner door to the hinge assembly. Take pictures of the way the gasket's grey plastic end cap assembles between the inner door frame and the hinge, and remove the inner door. The old gasket has a channel lip that sits on the plastic edge of the washer tub, pull it off this lip and discard. Install new gasket and put it all back together! Use this opportunity to clean the gunk out of the upper door seals.

Would not fill with water. Pump sound like it was running when starting cycle
It was necessary to pull the dish washer to access the valve located on the lower left front of machine. Some difficulty in disconnecting water inlet and outlet hoses to valve since spring clips used to secure hoses. Tight spaces to remove the old valve and install new valve. Used screw type hose clamp on reinstall in lieu of spring clips. May have been easier had I had the special pliers used to remove and install spring type clips.

Poor cleaning of dishes and calcium build up on filter
I watch utube to assess the problem then took eveything apart and saw the build up on the filter, which i had never cleaned. I tried to clean it but was unsuccessful so order the filter from partselect and it came within a couple of days, installed very easily and began to clean as it always had.

dishwasher not emptying tub, dirty dishes when the dishwasher said the cycle was done
easy repair, but the check valve wasn't the problem, it was the float switch that isn't on the tech sheet in the dishwasher or mentioned as a possible culprit anywhere I could find on the internet

Over the years the filter became too clogged with embedded particles
Really simple. You pull out the drain filter plate and pull the filter off the support and replace. I gave everything a good cleaning and put it back in place.

Dishwasher not draining at end of cycle
My Bosch dishwasher is approx 11 years old. It was leaving water in the dishwasher pan at end of the cycle.
I replaced the drain pump component, which is accessible by removing the lower front panel. It is not necessary to remove the dishwasher door panel to access the pump, but may help with accessing the pump if you have difficulty getting it to come loose.
On the initial install of the new pump, It wasn't fully seated so it dropped a bit. Make sure the pump is fully inserted (push on it or use a bit of Vaseline on the rubber). Once fully seated it no longer dripped and the dishwasher is now draining properly.
Steps
1. Shutoff power at breaker
2. Remove lower access panel at front of dishwasher
3. Remove filter, drain and retaining clip from tub, empty water from tub with sponge or baster
4. Unplug drain plug wiring connector (small clip on right)
5. Twist old drain pump unit clockwise to remove
the old unit (have a towel ready to catch any water left in the tub)
6. Connect new pump to wiring harness
7. Insert the pump at 2 o'clock position, ensure it is fully seated (see note above).
8. Twist pump counterclockwise until it locks into place. The pump should not wiggle and be firmly connected to the unit.
9. Replace tub clip, drain screen and cover
10. Turn power back on, run cycle to test for operation and leaks
11. Reinstall lower access panel.

when you receive the drain pump and you are ready to install make sure you put VASELINE around the rubber Gromit that will make putting the drain pump in very easy, also to give yourself more space to remove and install the pump remove the front door panel.

Broken wheel on upper rack on both sides
The part was perfect. The repair video was very helpful, except it did not include the disassembly of the old part. I figured that out, and all went smoothly until the final step. The screw included required not a slot-head screwdriver which everyone has, not a Phillips head screwdriver which everyone has, but a screw requiring a specialized driver that no one has. WHY? I substituted a normal screw and hope that does not mean the terrorists have won.

Dishwasher would not start and had not completely drained.
Tried the door lock first. Did not fix the problem.
Replaced the drain pump and it fixed the problem.
Parts Select identified the pump as the most frequent problem.
Next time I will order both parts when one is cheap for any repair.
Find Parts Select is very helpful. They have identified a problem with a washing machine in the past.
I will use them for future problems.
