Not pulling water
For model number ADEH50LPQ1

Hi Kim, Thank you for your question. If your dehumidifier is not collecting water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the capacitor, the overload, the fan motor, and the electronic control board. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Support prong broke on float
1st of all, glued the broken prong that secured the float. Worked temporarily before breaking again. Started to trash the dehumidifier then looked online using the Model number. Parts select appeared thru the search and to my surprise, the part was available for under $20.00.

Ordered part and replaced it with ease. Works gr eat!

had to replace original water float as the connector broke off
my model is so old it is no longer part of the GE inventory but looking at the photos on line - which are very good and detailed - and chatting with on line help decided to go ahead and order and it fit perfectly
