This control panel trim piece is just under thirteen inches long. It is almost seven inches wide, and it has white lettering on the front. This piece of trim is made of metal and has five holes for surface burner knobs.

original light grey color grates stained and unsightly--no amount of scrubbing or cleansers would make them look nice.
Opened the box and took out the black color grates~~removed discolored grates and put the new ones on. Looks like a brand new stove and much nicer to look at as it is the first thing you see when you enter the kitchen.

Panel lettering worn out
First I removed the stove on and off knobs and then I lifted the cover and unscrewed 4 screws removed old trim and inserted new trim and screwed in the 4 screws , lower the cover and replaced the knobs.

Replace the slash cover around the control knobs
Removed the knobs. Remove the four screws holding the cover and then replced the old cover with the new one. Tightened the four screws and replaced the knobs.
