The element would not heat. It showed an error code when I turned it on.
I turned off the electricity first. Then I removed the stove-top very carefully and turned it upside down. There are about 12 screws to remove and then remove the underside of the stove. In doing this, there is a wire that has to be disconnected. Then the elements are exposed and I removed the one that was defective and installed the new p art.
I turned on the electricity and it worked. I was very happy and felt very
proud that I fixed the stove.
