Old range knobs were broken. I just pulled them off and pushed on the new knobs.

Worn wobbly knobs from 1984, the wording, ie: off-hi-sim-warm, had worn off.
Pulled off old knobs, replaced with new knobs. Took less than 30 seconds. Easy as 1-2-3. I'm happy.
