After compressor reaches pressure setting, I have to toggle On/Off switch to make compressor to turn on again when tank is empty of air? Is pressure switch faulty or pressure regulator set too high?
For model number MAC5200
Hello Kartar, thank you for your inquiry. The Pressure Regulator is FIX11883518. The Pressure switch is FIX10149770. We believe it is the Pressure Switch. Good luck with this repair.
Hello Verl, thank you for the question. The reset button is located below the toolbox next to the motor head. If the motor overheated, the thermal overload protector shuts off the motor. Turn pressure switch to "OFF" position and wait for unit to cool before pushing the reset button and restarting. If the oil is low or empty, the pump won't compress properly. Check the sight glass on the pump, oil should be at the middle mark. Ensure the drain valve at the bottom of the tank is fully closed. With the unit on, spray soapy water around fittings, the regulator, and quick-connect couplers to identify leaks. Inspect the check valve, part number FIX10149599. The check valve is supposed to hold tank pressure after the switch reaches set pressure. If the brass check valve is leaking pressure back into the system, air will leak out of the unloader valve. Replace the check valve to fix the issue. We hope this is what you were looking for!
Turn on the compressor and it won’t fill up with air. Changed the oil and not sure what’s wrong.

The part number listed under your model number for the pressure switch is FIX10149770. My compressor turns on and regulator pressure is set to 100 psi and the tank reach’s 100 psi and keeps going and won’t shut off.
For model number MAC5200
Hi Aaron,
Thank you for your question. If the air compressor is not shutting off, the air filters may be clogged and you will need to either clean or replace them. If the filters are fine, you may have a broken pressure gauge, or a malfunctioning pressure relief valve, pressure switch or motor. If you have your air compressor plugged into a low powered extension cord, then the air compressor may continue to run. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
