My compressor works it just takes a long Time to pump up and shut off, why?
For model number D55146
Hi Charles,
Thank you for your question. If it is taking along time for the air compressor to build pressure, you may have an air filter that needs to be cleaned or replaced, the gaskets or other seals may be worn or damaged, or the intake and pressure valves are faulty. You will need to inspect these parts to see which one is causing the issue. We hope this helps!
My compressor is the d55146 type 5 it fills up fine and builds pressure but when it gets past 225 I shut it off for safety which is where it should auto shut off.
