Compressor pumps up to about 120 psi. Rather than shutting off, it blows the safety valve and bleeds down to about 80 psi and keeps running and repeating the cycle. Reason, fix.
For model number CAP1560
this may be an indicator of a problem within the Valve Plate Assembly FIX10248601. The valve can be found on the top of each cylinder. To replace the valve, loosen the cap screws, remove, disassemble, replace the reed valves and gaskets and reattach the head plates to the cylinder.
