Grinder burrs old & dull
I didn't do the repair. My grinder is 12 years old and I have probably ground more than 3,000 pounds of coffee through it over the years. It is a good idea to replace grinding burrs every few years to maintain grind consistency. When I pulled the old burns out and compared them to the ones I just bought I was shocked. The 'new' ones looked more worn than the ones I've had for 12 years. More so, the burrs looked like they were made from cast metal, not cut from stainless steel. And they were poorly cast at that as there was pits in them. I used a 10x jeweler's loop to inspect the burrs & after inspection decided not to replace my worn burrs with a duller set. I'd like a refund, please.

Grind selector knob was smashed into pieces during shipment
All I had to do was remove the retainer screw with the allen wrench then put the knob in place and replace the retainer screw with the allen wrench. It took me longer to locate my allen wrench in my toolkit than to make the repair.
