Rope pulled out and didn't retrieve
Pulled rope pull assembly housing, 4 screws and removed center screw that holds the eps plastic gear and spring was under neath that and it was bent out of shape. Important part is install new spring with yellow painted end outward , toward housing! Lucky I bought two??

The saw started running too fast on idle and was over revving under light load.
I tried a few adjustment on the carb jets and the idle speed but it got worse. I opened it up and discovered that the carburetor was loose and the engine was sucking air at the carburetor mount. One of the nuts was lost so I ordered a replacement part and a spare in case it happens again. This saw has worn out at least 6 chains, three gui

de bars and a sprocket. Had one other repair a year ago when it broke a clutch spring in the sprocket.

Pull cord failed to retract
Removed cowling and spool. Spring drops in place without need for adjustment.
