It will disperse the cleaner into my carpet but it will not vacuum it back up? I have checked to make sure the belt was on properly as it was. What else csn i do to fix this problem?

My carpet cleaners belt broke and i replaced it, but now will not suck up water. Do you have any solutions everything else seems to be working fine.

Hello Sharon, thank you for your inquiry. If it is not sucking up water properly, make sure the dial is set to floor cleaning. Jiggle the tank to ensure it is making a good connection to the machine. Dirty filters will also cause problems, so always check before you start the wet process of cleaning flooring. Jiggle the tank to ensure it is making a good connection to the machine. Check your filters and make sure all of the doors and latches are properly closed so that the machine can achieve good suction. Also try to rinse the tank and shake it with clean water inside, replace the tank, and try again. There is a float on the tank that is possibly stuck in the up position, which is why the machine thinks the tank is full. We hope this information helps!
