HEI8056U/03 Bosch Range

Removed the wall oven to access temp probe connector strapped to the back of the oven. removed 2 screws holding probe inside the oven & replaced. Searched for the "fixing kit" thermostat part I was suggested to replace along with the probe. No thermostat type part was found in my oven, even though Bosch says it fits "somewhere". Reinstall ... First, cut the power and remove the oven from the cabinet.

The bake element is accessible from the back and sits in a drawer.

As someone else said, you have to use pliers to bend the cover of the drawer, you will make some damage to the cover, but there is nothing you can do about it.

When you replace the bake element, make sure you insert it in the straps so it won't wiggle when it heats.

To close the cover that you bent, you will need a helper and push really hard.

My repair man was able to change out the old, cracked top and replace it with the new one in less than an hour. The wires underneath were pretty straightforward, but he mentioned that the burns were off and he adjusted. Wanted to mention that it was an easy adjustment.
