Good morning. I have a Waring 4 liter blender model number cb15 and serial number 576591. When I plug the blender in and turn it on the power on light comes on. However, when I try to use any blender speed it just gives me a ticking noise. Do you have advice to troubleshoot this? Thank you!

Hi Carlos, thank you for reaching out. First, make sure the power cord is not damaged and properly attached to the control board. If it is fine, open the blender housing and take the motor out and check the wiring in the motor, especially at the brushes. Clean out any carbon dust in the motor. Have a good look at the wiring on the motor. If it is fine, then it means the carbon brush holder shorting on the motor casing and you may need to replace the motor, part number FIX10506614. We hope this information is useful!

Greetings, we have Waring CB15 Blender, manufactured 10/30/2009. Recently, when the unit was in use, the double handle container would be shaking violently (without someone grabbing on to it, the container would be toppled off the base) as well as making screeching loud noises than normal. Please advise of which parts could be the cause(s). Thank you!
