Original Blender Jar fell apart
I didn't realize there was a spoon in the blender and it made a total racket as the blades and housing were falling apart. The blender jar, blades and housing are all one piece so my less than 2 month old blender was completely trashed. teeth worn out from high speed ice crush
Put masking tape around the coupling and put the coupling in a vise upside down. took the bottom apart and unscrewed the main shaft screw. ITS LEFT HAND THREAD!!! Screw on new coupling and put the bottom back on.The masking tape is just to protect the finish.

Leaking base and silicone seal
Just swapped out parts and no more leak. I figured out the leak was around the blades and the nut holding it together wasn't staying tight. New parts fit perfect. No tools.
