Worn Out Lid Seal on Blender
I only had to use my hands to install the the new lid seal and the new lid seal fit perfectly. The old original seal was made of foam & would not come clean. The new lid seal is rubber; that's what the blender should have come with when new.

After sitting on my kitchen counter for nearly 42 years the rubber feet left foot prints.
We:
tipped the mixer over on its side
pulled the old feet off
put the new feet in place and pounded them w/our fists
set it back up on its new feet
smiled

blender jar leaks due to worn gasket
I retrieved the package from under the doormat where the FedEx driver had left it. Using a utility knife, I carefully cut open the package but accidentally cut into the included packing slip. I removed the seal from the outer packaging and using the same knife carefully cut open the plastic bag containing the seal, being careful not to cut the seal itself. I removed the seal from the packet and removed the lid from the blender jar by turning it a few degrees counterclockwise by hand. Using my fingers, I removed the old seal from the lid and then using those same fingers I laid the new seal in place. Then slapping myself in the forehead, I realized I should probably wash the new seal before using it because you just never know who has handled it. So I reversed the installation process and after washing the seal with mild soap and water, I re-installed it on the lid using the same finger process. The next step was to re-install the lid on the jar by turning it a few degrees clockwise until it locked into place. The last step was to congratulate myself for a job well done by cracking open a beer while at the same time cursing myself for spending $16 on a stupid rubber seal.

Speaker cone totally shot....
Removing the original speaker was the hardest task. Luckily, the old sealant was brittle and the speaker was easily removed. Scraped all the old sealant away and dry fitted the replacement. Wired the new unit and tested it. Sounded OK...
Back everything off, apply sealant, install the speaker and wait a day for the silicone to set.
The repair was painless. My order got here sooner than expected. I've found a new reliable vendor. Thanks, I'll be back.

Pliers
Lost a rubber foot on my Kitchen Aid mixer. The remaining feet we're hard and mushroomed. I decided to replace all 5. That was the correct decision.
I griped each foot with a pliers and twisted it out of its setting. I then set a new foot in place and hammered it into place with a small hammer. The feet fit snugly and did not need to be glued. Job was easy and mixer sits like new. I was glad I spent the money to replace all of the feet at once.
