Its not cutting square, on an angle
For model number 7040
Hi Mark, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the cuts can be out of square because of fast feed pressure, and the workpiece is not square with the blade. We recommend adjusting blade torsion, feed pressure and properly adjusting blade speed. Move the blade guide bar closer to work. Gradually increase blade tension. Adjust guide bearing clearance to 0.001 inches (0.002-inch maximum). Check blade speed. Tighten blade guide assembly. The dull blade also causes this issue, if the blade is to blame, replace it with a new one. The blade with 4/6 Vari Tooth is part number FIX10380374 and the blade with part with 6/10 Vari Tooth is part number FIX10380375. We hope this information helps!
