Will not heat

Below are some reasons why your ac unit is not heating: the unit has no heating option, you are using the wrong settings, the airflow to the unit is restricted, faulty circuit breaker, clogged filters, part number FIX2374491, or the unit is going into defrost cycle. ALL FUNCTIONS ON TOUCH CONTROL PAD WORKED EXCEPT TEMP UP & DOWN
After calling other parts supply companies with not much help, I found a helpful representative at Parts Select. My unit is very old & not many parts are available, so I asked the rep if she thought just buying a remote control would solve the issue since it was obvious that the whole panel was not broken or unusable. She was not sure b ut said she would allow me to return it if it didn't. She sent the remote control out that day, I had it in 2 days. Not only did it totally solve the problem, it saved me a lot of money. Though these companies are not allowed to give technical advice, she was very helpful, friendly & efficient.

Fan Blade broken when assembled in factory.
No Problem. 5 screws and one nut and blade comes off.
