The room air conditioner turns on, but it constantly keeps shutting off, when I know that the room temperature is not near the dialed temp. I think it’s the sensor. Please help.
For model number FRA125CT10

Hello John, thank you for your question. the compressor is a sealed component preventing dust and debris from damaging its moving parts. If the compressor is overheating or is worn out, this will often result in the system shutting off frequently. Or, if your refrigerant level falls, you will experience poor cooling performance and energy efficiency. Lastly, If you have an airflow issue, such as a clogged air filter, frost can build up on your evaporator coils. This, again, can lead to a short cycling issue. The two sensors are parts FIX2379578 and FIX2359380.Hopefully one or some of these suggestions may be of some help for you.

Bearings in fan motor were bad causing a loud grinding sound.
Pull the front and outside shell off and the got the Styrofoam off and all necessary screws. Undid the wires and reran everything.

Needed to replace front panel on Electrolux A/C - New Part Doesn't Fit
Purchased part number 5304476793. Part was not the right size, so called Electrolux (877-435-3287). After 50 minutes on hold, I was told this IS the correct part.
When I explained that it is 1/2" too tall, and 1 1/2" too narrow, and none of the slots line up, she would only say (again) that it was the correct part, and their drawing ... Read more was correct.
And left me hanging. No discussion, no mention that maybe the wrong part was in the packing. No options. Thank you for calling. Goodbye.
At least PartsSelect was prompt and courteous, and gave me a refund, since the manufacturer was not at all interested in the issue.

Fan Blade Broken
I took all of the outer screws out and removed sheet metal cover. I had to unbolt fan motor from bottom of the unit. I moved the fan motor so I could remove the Fan Blade. Put new blade on and reversed the process. Works Fine.
