Scott Thomas

Scott Thomas, the Original Grillin’ Fool, was sent off to college some two decades ago with a suitcase and a grill, where he overcooked, undercooked, and burned every piece of meat he could lay his hands on. After countless miserable failures, and a scant few successes, he founded GrillinFools.com in 2008 to show step-by-step, picture-by-picture, foolproof instructions on how to grill so that others would not have to repeat the thousands of mistakes he has made while grilling.

Continually challenging the traditional “rules” and “standards” of barbecue, Scott will grill anything from romaine, to ribs, to tri-tip, to teres major. He has written feature articles for both St. Louis and Feast Magazines, been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, and appeared on countless television and radio spots. He is recognized nationally as a Char-Broil All-Star Blogger and also writes for Sears.

Scott is a husband and father of three boys and resides in St. Louis – home of the rib of the same name and the birthplace of the pork steak.
