Jane Gates

Jane Gates is an award-winning landscape designer, writer and speaker: owner of Gates & Croft Horticultural Design in Los Angeles, and the author of “All the Garden’s a Stage”. She has 40 years of experience in the green industry in sales, home gardening, plant breeding, landscape design and a stint on TV as the Time Warner ‘Garden Expert’. Jane has written garden columns for newspapers and magazines such as The Los Angeles Daily News, The Examiner and The Country Journal. Jane has blogged for the Home Depot and a number of other companies as well as maintaining her own blog at GardenGates.info. She is a licensed Landscape Contractor and a member of the Garden Writers Association and the Association of Professional Landscape Designers. Jane’s goal in life is to make peoples’ lives healthier, richer, more beautiful and more joyful by living in harmony with nature.
