Product Description

This is an authentic OEM part that has been sourced directly from Campbell Hausfeld. A fuel valve kit is installed in the fuel line of your generator, fuel valves help extend the life of your engine. This valve controls the amount of fuel flowing into the combustion chamber, and the flow exhaust that is leaving the engine. Due to constant contact with fuel this part will break down over time. When this happens you will notice the engine is lowing power, and your engine is not as fuel efficient as it once was. Fuel valve controls how much, if any, fuel is travelling through the fuel line to the carburetor and into the combustion chamber. This means that when the generator is in storage or when it is not used for long periods of time you don?t have fuel sitting in the lines or in the carburetor, doing damage. When the generator is not in use it is as simple as closing the valve, and then draining the carburetor or burning the remainder of fuel in the carburetor. Not only does this help save your carburetor from the negative effects of stale fuel, but it also can also help prevent fuel leaks. The 90 degree in line fuel value is made of plastic, and the hose clamps are metal. Fuel valve kits are installed in the fuel line right before the carburetor.
