The drive belt works with the pulley in your washer in order to spin the tub. If you notice a burning rubber smell, your washer has become excessively noisy, or it will not spin, it could indicate an issue with the drive belt. Over time the belt can become worn and snap, or it can become loose and no longer provide the proper grip to spin. This is a genuine OEM part for your washer that is black in color and made of rubber.

Super tight fit.
It took several times to get the belt on the pulleys. The tightness solved the slipping on the transmission pulley.
