The door hinge broke into three (3) pieces.
I used an electric drill with a size T20 star head bit to remove the screws in the hinge pieces still attached to the washer and around the washer door separating it. The door came apart easily and I replaced the hinge. After placing and tightening the screws around the door I re-hung it on the washer. The repair was easy to make requiring little time and effort.
